Using Twitter to get geography resources, share ideas and keep up-to-date

For those of you who have not yet been sucked into the world of Twitter, then can I thoroughly recommend that you give it a go - for CPD and resource sharing and acquisition.

Since I have started using Twitter, I have made some great connections with geography teachers around the country and beyond. It is the best CPD I have had in years. Geography teachers seem to be unique in their helpfulness and desire to share ideas and resources.

2012-2014 New Spec B

Hi all,

I have checked through our lessons and Case studies rigourously and i have found that we have a few things in each theme that need adding along with a few new case studies.

 

Has anyone else found this?

Job at Brecon High School

My colleague at Brecon High School is due to start maternity leave in September.There will be an advert on the Powys County Council website imminently and there's a period of about 2 weeks for applications.The job will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography as well as KS3 and KS4 PE (majority Geography timetable).See More

"Not a problem! There are really good you tube clips for all case studies i have looked at which i couldn't link on here! For some reason can't give access for theme 2 however if people send the request I will add e-mails asap!"
